Cinque Terre

The next morning the traveling trio (Mary, Jubie and David) boarded another train this time bound for the west coast of Italy and the towns of Cinque Terre. Several hours later we were picked up at the train station by our hotel host, and given disturbing information. There was to be a scheduled train strike the following day, so we would have to spend an extra night in the area. We ate the most fantastic dinner that night, served by the multi-purpose host and owner of the hotel. He served as driver, receptionist, bartender, wine expert, and waiter. He was everywhere!
