Long flight...and still more waiting

The next morning we boarded our elegant Cathay Pacific airlines and headed out for our 12 hour flight to Hong Kong. Over the past three months, we had seen two movies, both in London and were long overdue for a little mindless fluff entertainment. We are happy to report that we were treated to twelve hours of non-stop movies, sitcoms, and dramatic series on our long haul to HK. We did what any savvy world traveler do when reaching the Honk Kong airport for the first time, we headed over to the local coffee shop, and noticed that the airport was oddly hot and sticky, no frigid air conditioning here.
After a few hours we boarded our next five hour flight to Denpensar, Bali, arriving on time. HOWEVER, it seems that they had just changed the protocol in the immigration department during the past few weeks. So we spent the next three hours herded like cattle into a small pasture, with little air flow. There were hundreds of us, all ages, forced to wait while the Balinese Immigration officers finger printed and photographed visitors, as well as stamped their passports. We were impressed by how well this large group of very tired and sweaty travelers managed their frustrations, even the young children found ways to amuse themselves
