David, Jubie and Mary decided on a quick over night trip by train to Venice, the city of arts and creativity. The train system was fairly easy to figure out and apart from not realizing we had to punch our tickets in the yellow box before departing (which lead to a 10 Euro fine that could have been a 150 Euro fine- yikes) we got to Venice fairly easily. Upon arrival to the festive city, we were met with the ravenous desire for gelato, it was everywhere and everyone was eating it! During the course of two days we devoured gelatos of every flavor, discovering what we thought was the best gelato ever for a mere one euro a scoop. (We were unaware that Jade would soon introduce us to truly the finest gelato in the land).
