Sunday was Italian Liberation Day. Only fitting that the citizens of Bologna gathered for a Liberation Day soup party. Cooks from all over Bologna assembled with heavy pots of homemade soups, hoping to win the Best in Show Soup Award. Unfortunately we arrived late and most of the soups were gone. We did get to enjoy the music, especially the Soup and Samba parade.
